Couldn’t book tickets in time for a December getaway? Why not do a staycation in Singapore? With the amount of the efforts some of these boutique hotels put into designing their rooms, you might even wake up thinking that you’re in another country altogether!
1) Klapsons, The Boutique Hotel

Prices starting from: $200 per night
Address: 15 Hoe Chiang Road, Singapore 089316
Klapson is an ultra modern and stylish hotel located near Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Walking into the lobby seems to transport you into an art museum of sorts. Perhaps you might have seen one of the pictures of their famous “in the middle of the room” showers. While it may not be the best for a staycation with friends, it would certainly help spice things up for couples.
If you are like me, you would also love their Fabrika bar. It is an alfresco sky terrace bar that allows you to sip your cocktails with views overlooking the CBD district.
2) Oasia Hotel

Prices starting from: $252 per night
Address: 8 Sinaran Drive, Singapore 307470
The biggest “boutique” hotel on this list, Oasia boast an impressive total of 428 rooms. This means it’s probably much easier to get one a room here than in other boutique hotels if you’re one of those last minute types.
You would be well pampered here with two floors worth of swimming pools! Some people may find the rooms slightly smaller but they are nicely designed with a wooden feel to it. If you pick one of their suites, it also comes with premium THANN amenities that are sure to make your showering experience a relaxing one!
Prices starting from: $224 per night
Address: 22 Mount Elizabeth, Singapore 228517
Who cares about MBS’s infinity pool when you have Quincy Hotel’s 24 hour pool? Honestly, have any of you ever seen someone trying to do some actual swimming in the ridiculously narrow infinity pool? Besides, Quincy Hotel’s glass bottom pool is way cooler! In the past few years, Quincy Hotel has become a very popular choice for staycations due to their spacious rooms, complimentary Art Jamming sessions for couples and complimentary bites from Dean & DeLuca. Definitely worth checking them out!
4) Wangz Hotel Image Credits: Wangz Hotel
Prices starting from $229.50 per night
Address: 231 Outram Road, Singapore 169040
Wangz Hotel angles itself as an urban oasis located in the heart of Singapore. If you look through their choice of rooms, it is hard to deny with their logic. They have a variety of rooms ranging from the typical hotel-like Deluxe Room to the romantic Soak Room with a free standing tub to loosen those tired muscles. All of these rooms are warm and inviting, each with their unique feel to it. Oh by the way, don’t forget to check out their Halo Rooftop Lounge. How could you miss the view if you’re staying there?
5) Naumi Hotel Image Credits: thesmartlocal.com
Prices starting from: $260 per night
Address: 41 Seah St, Singapore 188396
Another hotel that boasts of an infinity pool, Naumi Hotel is one that is also located in the heart of the city. While its pool may not be as famous as MBS’s, I personally prefer my pool to be quiet and empty – especially if it means less pesky kids running and screaming around.
6) Wanderlust Hotel Image Credits: thesmartlocal.com
Prices starting from: $153 per night
Address: 2 Dickson Road, Singapore 209494
A lot have been written about Wanderlust Hotel and their interesting themed rooms. It’s hard for you to miss out on them if you’re ever doing a list of affordable and unique boutique hotels in Singapore. While some people found the “Typewriter” themed room pretty ordinary, rave reviews have been pouring in for their “Whimsical” space themed rooms and “Tree” room. It’s certainly one of those stays that you would have to experience for yourself!
7) New Majestic Hotel
