What This Estimate Assumes

Rough estimate only. Uses CPF rates from 1 January 2026 and the S$8,000 monthly salary cap (Ordinary Wage ceiling). For Singapore Citizens, and PRs from their third year, earning above S$750 a month. Your age is your age at your last birthday: CPF moves you to the next age group’s rates from the month after you turn 55, 60, 65 or 70. Foreigners on a work pass pay no CPF, so their take-home before tax is their gross salary. Leaves out bonuses and other Additional Wages, lower (graduated) PR rates, income tax and other payroll deductions. The employer view adds employer CPF to the salary; its yearly figures assume 12 equal months with no bonus and leave out the Skills Development Levy, foreign worker levies and other staff costs. CPF Board’s calculator gives the official amount.
