We did it. After many months since the Circuit Breaker kicked in, Singapore is officially in Phase 3. Gatherings are no longer restricted to 5 pax, and gone are the bizarre situations of not being able to celebrate our own family members’ birthdays outside. Finding a group activity has also been a monumental headache trying to find something fun for everyone to enjoy.
Especially so during the peak of COVID when social distancing measures prevented us from organizing sports and most outdoor activities.
It’s actually not that difficult to find group activities in Singapore, so here are some enjoyable activities for your family and friends that promise plenty of fun and cost less than $80 per person. We’ve hand-picked these ideas that are perfect for kids and adults to enjoy together, so you can get the whole gang involved!
Psst… if you use your SingaporeRediscovers vouchers right, you could be in for some mighty good deals!
1. Go-Karting
There are few sports as thrilling as go-karting. It promises extreme fun for the whole family and is surprisingly safe too, considering the speed at which the cars can go up to! The adrenaline rush is enough to give you a big kick and the Feel Good Factor is beneficial for both the mind and body.
So grab your family and friends, strap on your helmets and push the pedal to the metal with this tremendously fun activity. If that’s not enough to attract you, places like The Karting Arena charge only $40 per person for their First Timer Package that includes karting sessions, simulators and an Annual Race License!

2. Paintball
No group activity recommendation is complete without paintball, and this game has gained massive popularity in Singapore over the years. Paintball is just pure fun and nothing is more rewarding than getting your friend with the colored pellets. Then there’s also the more strategic element to the game where serious players can plan out tactical movements to take down the ‘enemies.’ Don’t get carried away though, as we’ve seen some painful injuries from the game.
All in all it’s a good adventure and the joy of hunting down the opposing team is sure to keep people coming back for more rounds. Paintball grounds like Hyperforce Paintball Singapore offer attractive packages where you can choose to go on a number of ‘missions’ with varying numbers of pellets provided to you. You can also take it up a notch by choosing their ‘Unlimited Packages’ where you can get unlimited pellets to fire for up to 4 missions!
Prices start from as low as $18 per pax, so click here to find out more.
If actual pellets frighten you, check out the less intimidating game of NERF. At the NERF Action Xperience, you’ll be firing foam bullets instead and get to go on different challenges where you’ll battle against a zombie apocalypse and test your reflexes with some quick-fire games. Bring your little ones along for an entire day of fun-filled activities that will have them begging you to get the latest NERF blasters for them. This is one of our favorite indoor group activities in Singapore, that’s fun for both adults and kids!
In conjunction with the Singapore Tourism Board, use your SingaporeRediscovers vouchers to book a slot for your entire family and you could be eligible for a $10 subsidy on each child ticket. The ‘SRV Eligible All In’ package costs just $49 per person and is inclusive of 3 hours access to all zones.

4. Mini Golf
Prefer a less strenuous activity for your group? Give mini golf a shot. Compete with family and friends on the different courses, such as the ‘9 Iron Throne’ or ‘Yellow Brick Green’ which are named after famous TV shows. The game is suitable for kids too as it helps develop hand-eye coordination, balance and is sure to keep them entertained for hours.
The guys at Holey Moley Golf Club offer mini golf games at extremely affordable rates. Prices start from $12/pax for a 9-hole course and goes up to $34/pax for the entire 27-hole course.
So if you’re looking for an enjoyable and relaxing activity that can be played indoors, check out Holey Moley Golf Club here.
Offering a first-of-its-kind experience, K Bowling club is a multi-entertainment venue suitable for family and friends looking for a good time. They are of course best known for being a dedicated cosmic bowling alley with lights and music to liven up your bowling game.
Perfect for groups, they charge just $11 per game/per person and are conveniently located in Orchard road. So if normal bowling alleys don’t quite excite you, be sure to check this place out!

Feeling some pent up energy and frustration from staying at home all day? Let it out by demolishing and smashing everyday items (in a safe and secure environment). Established with the goal to give people the opportunity to release pent up stress or simply if they’re feeling destructive, The Fragment Room is a ‘rage room’ where you’re allowed to let down your walls, scream at your boss and obliterate a computer with a baseball bat.
We’ve given it a go after a long day’s work and can say we enjoyed every second of destroying everything in sight.
Prices start from $38 per person, but from our experience it’s always more fun (and cheaper) to drag a buddy along and smash away!

7. Pottery
If sports and games aren’t your cup of tea, consider pottery for your next group activity! Therapeutic and a chance to let your creativity flow, there is also something rewarding about seeing a hand-molded creation come to life. Not always the first-choice when it comes to group activities, pottery can actually foster bonding by having different individuals work together to build a piece.
The folks at Center Pottery offer many different classes that are suitable for beginners as well and at just $55 per person, you’ll be able to create your own personalized cup from scratch! Discover the art of pottery and see how a simple piece of clay can transform into a masterpiece.

8. Food Donation Drive
This event is ABSOLUTELY free, and you will find yourself rewarded in ways you never imagined. Grab your 7 closest friends or family members and volunteer at the Food Bank. Volunteer at their warehouse where you’ll help to sort and pack food donations or work at the Fresh Food Truck where you’ll get to collect groceries and distribute them to beneficiaries.
It’s easy to forget the people in need with all that’s going on right now, so with the ease of social distancing measures, it’s the perfect opportunity to do some good for the community!
